Curbside Recycling Moves One Step Closer

 

The village board decided at the August 4th meeting to seek bids for curbside recycling.  The board determined there was enough interest shown by the public to allow further investigation into providing the service to residents.  

 

Details about the program are still up in the air.  Residential service will definitely be included, but it is not yet known if businesses will be provided with recylce containers and required to pay a fee.

Recycle Bin

 

Though it is understandable that frustrations mount when you tote your recyclables to the bin only to find it filled to the brim, please do not leave any items outside the container.

 

The bin is emptied every Friday, and an additional bin has recently been added for your convenience.   

 

   

Automatic Payment of Your Water & Sewer Bill

 

Are you interested in the hassle free method of bill payment?  If so, consider signing up for automatic payment of your water and sewer bill.  To get the application form click on Government, Utilities, ACH.  Complete the form, attach a voided check of the account from which you want funds deducted, and drop off at Village Hall for processing.  It's as easy as that!
